Two, well-established fitness programs SargeCorp, parent company of The Sergeant’s Program, and Custom Fitness Concepts (CFC) announced their merger to provide fitness services across the METRO DC, Maryland and Virginia areas.
Aptly named “Sergeant’s Fitness Concepts” (SFC), this merger brings together The Sergeant’s Program and Custom Fitness Concepts with a combined 42 years in business. This new company will provide group indoor and outdoor boot camp classes, small group and personal training, corporate wellness programs to its clientele.
“Both programs have a long-standing history in the Metro DC area and have been dominating outdoor group fitness services,” said Rob Grimes, CEO of The Sergeant’s Program. “Through the new company, we will be able to grow not only in our region, but expand our products and services inside and outside the beltway and outside the region nationally and internationally.”
Tom Kalka, CEO of Custom Fitness Concepts says, “The decision to merge was a no brainer for both of us. More and more people are choosing to take control of their fitness needs and want something more than a gym can provide. It is our mission to give our clients an experience unlike anything they’ve done before and help them achieve fitness goals they never thought possible.”
Sergeant’s Fitness Concepts will provide programs including group fitness through their unique Bootcamp programs for adults, kids, young adults and seniors; called “Sergeant’s Fitness,” “SargeKids Fitness,” and “General’s Fitness” respectively. These programs help members reach their fitness goals no matter the age or fitness level.
Sergeant’s Fitness Concepts programs take place up to six days a week – with most locations operating Monday to Friday – all over and around the Beltway in Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia at over 40 classes. Small group and personal training, called “Private Training,” and corporate wellness programs, called “Command Fitness,” come custom-made for members of any sized organization looking to tailor their fitness program to meet their fitness goals.
In addition, SFC offers “Special Forces Fitness” as readiness training for physical fitness activities outside of class. Military readiness (prep for military training) for first responders, and other specialized programs like RIP Running Improvement Program for marathon and triathlon training.
